Final Assignment

So, #itsaboutgiving is coming to a close.

Tomorrow.

As of Monday, Compassion has raised $532 through the Christmas Gift Catalog for children in poverty.

That's $532 out of a $20,000 goal.

But it's still possible.

There are more than 2,000 Compassion Bloggers.

That means that,

If each one posts,

And if readers respond . . .
  • If ten readers give $10, we will reach our goal.
  • If five readers give $5, we will reach our goal.
  • If two readers give $50, we will reach our goal.
  • OR, if one reader gives $100, we will reach our goal.
So, what do you say?

$10 could provide garden seeds for a family in Africa.

$20 could provide a Christmas gift for a mother and her baby.

$30 could give children access to safe and sanitary bathrooms.

$40 could care for a child who is waiting for a sponsor.

$40 could also treat potentially deadly illnesses.

$50 could provide emergency shelter for a child and family.

$50 could also provide medical care for a child who has been injured.

$100 could protect twenty-five children from parasites.

And there are so many more gifts to choose from!

Please, consider giving,

Even just a little?

You can visit Compassion's Christmas catalog here.

You can change a child's life.

It only takes a few minutes.

It only takes a few dollars.

It only takes a heart that's received so much

To break at the need around it

And allow the grace of receiving to spill over into the joy of giving.

It only takes you.

The kids and I were just looking at the catalog yesterday. Praying that many more will donate. Blessings to you and Merry Christmas!
