Bridging a Gap

I knew it'd been awhile.

Two months was more than I'd thought, though.

It's just so easy, when things are so busy . . .

When the schoolwork piles up,

When time with family becomes so important,

When I just need rest . . .

It's so easy to neglect the things that are important.

So much has been going on in my life lately,

Things that have required much of me,

And I really did need a break.

And maybe I still do.

I felt it, though, in my chest . . .

And I thought,

Maybe,

I was supposed to share these with you?

I haven't stopped counting . . .

I hope to never stop counting . . .

Reasons 5396-6171 today,
